NY GROVE — Town Board formally approves Tom Hart as deputy highway superintendent. Supervisor Kenneth DeRitter presided during the May 19 meeting with three councilmembers voting in favor; Councilmember Michael Dieter was absent. The board also unanimously approved a fund transfer from the Audit and Unencumbered Balance account to cover attorney contract expenses.
Highway Superintendent Mark Ringelberg reported ongoing road work on Swain Hill and Route 24, with additional projects pending equipment return.
